That’s the formal stuff.
Now the real stuff:
I believe marketing can and should be done with integrity, compassion, and generosity. Everyone deserves to make a living and reach their audience. If you’re an entrepreneur, creator, or a business owner, you have something to offer the world. The right people are out there, waiting to find you.
I started my career as a copywriter at a tiny marketing agency in Toronto in 2008. Since then, digital marketing and social media have fundamentally changed how we find and buy the products and services we use every day.
If you’re just starting your journey as an entrepreneur, welcome. It’s a great time to launch a business.
If you’ve been in it for a long time, but haven’t fully explored or understood digital marketing—hello. You’re in the right place.
My mission is to help every small business out there gain the knowledge and confidence they need to share their vision with the world.
A lot of people contact me thinking they need to hire someone to “run marketing.” But when I talk to them, I often see that they would benefit from a better understanding of what marketing actually is, first—and a deep dive into who they are as a brand and what they want.
Your Marketing Kit was born out of that need. I took all the questions I’m asked by clients, and all the things I’ve learned in my years in the industry, and distilled them into a downloadable guide that’ll help you start your marketing journey.
You may find out that you love marketing and have a knack for it. Or, you might learn it’s not for you and you want to hire someone to help. Either way, knowing how things work will set you up to make better decisions for you and your business.
If you’re not sure if Your Marketing Kit is right for you, just send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’d love to help.
